The most well known of the current social media platforms is Facebook.
Used by individuals to keep in contact with friends and family, sharing news.
Used by companies to share content.

When looking for a new role, new business or business connections, LinkedIn is the go-to platform.
Individuals can join and connect with colleagues, and businesses.
Businesses share content, and connect with potential staff, and customers.

The Pictures One
This is the place to share images and video with an audience, that finds and follows your account.
It’s become a popular platform for a lot of people

The Visual Search Engine
Pinterest isn’t really social media.
However, it’s been grouped with others, even though it’s actually about searching for inspiration and information.
Share your content by creating pins, which can link to your website or store.

The Industry / News Network
The big difference with Twitter, compared to the other platforms, is that it has a character limit – currently 280 characters.
With this limit, you need to be specific in your message – as this includes spaces, hashtags, links and symbols.
Ideas, thoughts, updates are shared with everyone on Twitter – however it’s seen by people who follow your account, or search for a tag you included.

The Video Network
This is the platform for searching and discovering videos on a wide range of subjects.
Length of video ranges from #shorts of 30 seconds up to hours of content.
Businesses can share content, advice and gain a following.
Individuals share for entertainment and interest.
