While I’ve talked about tech to make travel easier, and things that you really need to remember. What hasn’t been covered is packing tips. So here are some of my favourite channels that share packing and travel tips, or I can say my fav ‘YouTube Packing Channels’.
Yes, some of them even include tips for travel tech as well.
For each channel, you’ll see
- Channel Name and a Link
- My comment on the channel
- Description
- An embedded video, that I think you’ll find useful
- And in case the videos aren’t loading a direct text link to them
Tip: Check out the rest of the videos on all of the channels as there’s more good info and packing tips!
Travel Tips by Laurie
https://www.youtube.com/@TravelTipsbyLaurie
Laurie’s channel is, I think, the first one that I personally subscribed to.
I’ve found her tips to be practical and so useful. Yes, I’ve added a few of them to my own packing process – when I travel.

As a former elementary school teacher, you will learn new tips for travel in every video. My tips will help you “travel the globe without a worry in the world.”

Pack Hacker
https://www.youtube.com/@PackHacker
If you end up searching for things about travel and packing, you’ll definitely see the Pack Hacker channel.
Because they came up on my list so much, I finally watched one. I love that it’s clear and to the point on everything packing related. From packing tips, through to bags and other accessories.
If you’ve got an afternoon free, you might want to watch through a number of their videos – otherwise just watch them as you feel like it.
It might even be worth being a pro member, just to be able to visit their offices and see all the travel gear in person.

The way we do this is simple: by sharing our personal experiences and testing the latest gear so you don’t have to. No fluff. No BS. Just real people giving real recommendations.

I found Nora while browsing through recommended videos on YouTube. For me, she’s a fairly recent addition to my subscription list.
It didn’t take me long to go back though Nora’s videos to find a few more that I wanted to watch.

While I’m not (currently) subscribed to this channel, I do enjoy watching the videos.
The host (sorry, I don’t know her name) speaks honestly and from experience.
I like that she tries things out, and shares not only what works, but also what hasn’t for her.
I’m sharing one of my favourite videos – mostly because it’s about tiny travel things. But there are a few useful/interesting items.
