CLAIT has been designed for people just starting with computers, but not experienced users (of any level).
I’m including this certificate in the list to be inclusive, and to cover everything.
CLAiT – Computer Literacy and Information Technology
For anyone who hasn’t been using computers as much, or wants an introduction certificate to computers this could be the way to go.

From what I can find online, they are more based in colleges, and adult education centres, rather than testing centres.
Passing Scores and Validity
Unknown
Personal Experience – CLAiT
I don’t have personal experience, as it was suggested that it would be too basic for my skills/knowledge.
This was early 2000’s, which was before the advanced options were available.
Should you take CLAiT?
If you are an experienced computer user – no.
For those who are new to computers, I would still say no.
This is not a well known qualification, ECDL I think is more well-known.
Based on my research, it’s difficult to find (online) the information that you need; from information about the actual qualification, to what’s included, where to take it and of course how much.

The official site appears to be Oxford Cambridge and RSA.
I found the official site confusing to use, but I did I read that they retired CLAiT International in 2017.
A search through Google offered a number of results – I can’t honestly suggest where to go to to actually take these exams.
