Option 2: Extended Security Updates (ESU)
For those who cannot immediately upgrade, Microsoft offers an Extended Security Updates programme:
- Commercial customers can receive security updates for an additional year post-end-of-support
- Individual consumers can purchase a year of basic protection for £23 (approximately $30)
